Kelly is Six: Orange County Children’s Photographer

After a super long break from photography (and the longest (still going) pregnancy ever!), I finally felt called to give the old blog a little love tonight. Besides, I’m 39 weeks pregnant and can’t sleep. What better to do than to throw a few pics of this cutie up on the blog? :-) In an attempt to put my little family first and focus on growing this not-so-little nugget in my belly, I haven’t been shooting except a few little things here and there for family and dear friends. This is just a little shoot for Miss Kelly’s 6th birthday. She’s the youngest of three gorgeous sisters and is a complete dream to photograph. Don’t let that sweet little smile fool you though- she’ll run you down and take you out on the soccer field! Stay tuned for lots of pics of our third little girl, due to make her debut any day!

Orange County Wedding Photographer: Alisha & Bill

This beauty is long overdue. Bill and Alisha, what an amazing day! Alisha is an absolute artist at heart and the details she planned for her beautiful wedding were just a dream. On a beautiful day in Corona Del Mar, on the lawn of their dream home; the home they would pass by on their morning runs and dream about, Bill and Alisha became Mr. and Mrs. Halczyn. Surrounded by family and friends, their union was the most unique wedding I have ever been witness to. Having made their dream home into their dream wedding venue, this was truly an occasion to celebrate their love. Alisha stepped out of crisp white French doors opened for her by her brothers and cascaded down a petal swirled lawn to the amazing sounds of The Copycats singing “At Last” . She was truly a vision and the unique and intimate nature of their love shone through once again as they danced their first dance as husband and wife walking back down the aisle after saying their “I dos”. Bill and Alisha, thank you for letting me be a part of this day. The love you have for one another is forever. Congratulations on your happily ever after. xoxo.

This is the actual letter that Bill and Alisha left on the porch telling their story and letting the homeowners know what a dream it would be to have their wedding at their home. Bill read the letter at the reception. Love.

Orange County Maternity Photographer: Waiting for Dallas

All I can really say about Karla is WOW. She is absolutely stunning and I am so thrilled to have met Karla, Andre, and their adorable little family. And…baby Dallas has already made her debut! She is going to be a beauty just like Mama and big sister Lacine, so Andre, look out! Pics of the little princess coming very, very soon ;-)

Happy Father’s Day: Welcome Home Daddy!

If you know my hubby, you know that his world revolves around his girls—and baseball. So for Father’s Day, I only thought it appropriate that his two loves should come together, especially since he will be returning “home” to his Alma Mater to coach the Tigers in the fall (and I’m also just a little excited that we will get to teach at the same school again!) ;-) I am in awe every single day of the love he has for these two little girls. The fact that he plays Barbies and “snap dollies”, gets up early with Kylie to color, ballroom dances with Kenzie, plays freeze tag in the front lawn, draws mermaids with sidewalk chalk, and tears up just looking at these two precious little people. I’m the luckiest girl in the world. Happy Father’s Day Husband! Thank you for coming into my life, for our girls, and for every minute. We love you to the moon and back! Love, all your girls.

A Sweet Vintage Tea: Introducing Miss Khloe Lynn

When Erika contacted me to plan a vintage tea party session, I was over the moon! There’s nothing I love more than planning themed sessions that are meaningful to my clients, and when the word vintage is involved, I swoon. I got to hang out with Erika and Khloe and even got to get a few shots of them with Erika’s gorgeous sister Dominique and her little cutie pie Lilah (Dominique and Lilah’s post coming soon!) in a beautiful field with everything pink and the just the dreamiest light. Love.

Temecula Wedding Photographer: Ashleigh and Christopher

Time to catch up on some serious wedding blogging! This beautiful couple is so absolutely head over heels that you can’t help but see the love in the way they look at each other. Their gorgeous wedding at the Ponte Winery in Temecula was overflowing with everything vintage. Ornate gold frames, strings of pearls, candlelight and mason jars, old suitcases and fabulous lace. Sigh. Ashleigh and Chris waited to see each other until she came down the aisle and the emotion on his face says it all, and his beautiful bride was simply breathtaking. They planned a beautiful wedding and one of the most crazy fun receptions ever! Thank you Ashleigh and Chris for letting me be a part of your love story.

Orange County Family Photographer: The Chapluk Family


I love, love, love that Thomas is only 6 months old and this is already his third shoot with me! He was an absolute angel and slept through his entire newborn shoot (amazing!), wore a totally rad bow tie to his Valentine’s shoot, and brought the whole fam, including his big brother (still on crutches from a gnarly hockey injury) and his super cool triathlete grandpa, out for his 6-month pictures. Love this kid! Those big blue eyes, his super serious face, and way his whole family just lights up every time they look at their “Tommy Tom.” I’m not quite sure I can wait six more months to get him in front of my camera again! ;-)

Orange County Baby Photographer: Welcome Baby Hayden

Sweet little Hayden was six weeks old for his first photo shoot, so I love that we got to capture Mom and Dad playing with him and lovin’ on their new little bundle. He was wide awake for us until we decided to sneak next door to Grandma’s house (and she’s a super rad Grandma, so it’s very cool that they can just hop the fence to go to Grandma’s!):-) and discovered her spare bedroom full of vintage Louis Vuitton luggage. Yes please! Hayden snuggled right in and I think he would have liked to have stayed in his fur blanket padded Louis all day! Apparently he has good taste already. ;-) Thank you Diana and Kenny for letting me hang out with your awesome family and meet your little dude. Love him!
